As a Christian you want to be where God wants you to be. You have a desire to serve Him through your chosen profession. The question is are you looking for a vocation or just a profession? Do you feel you are being called by God to this profession? Then it is a vocation.
Once you have determined that God has indeed called you into this vocation consider the qualities that an employer looks for in a hiree. Are you positive role model? Do you have the leadership skills required? Are you willing to serve others unselfishly, putting the needs of others above yours? These are all very important questions to ponder when considering Christian eduacation jobs?
You may have taken a side step. Maybe you have failed in your previous endeavor. The fact that you are able to get back on your feet and not let pride get in the way, and try again is a wonderful quality.

Fulfilling one's vocation is a form of worship and honor to God. You are obeying His call. Whatever vocation you go into offer it up to God. Be the best that you can be and you will be a blessing to other people at the same time.

This shows people that they can serve God in whatever profession they are in. One can be an auto mechanic, a plumber, a mom or teacher and be spreading the gospel of God's love and truths at the same time.
With a quick online search you can find jobs in Christian education in almost any area in which you desire to live. You may even be able to fill out a job application, send your resume and have an online interview. The important issue is to obey God's calling on your life to serve Him.
