Checking the heating system and water heaters are required to make sure they are in working order. Plumbing and air conditioning are examined for installation accuracy and functioning status. The whole structure is examined to check electrical wiring and any loose building pieces.

These are all important things to know before selling or buying a home. This helps the buyer to know if the purchase of the home will be worth the repair and replacement costs. This helps the seller to know what should be fixed so that they can sell the house for optimum pricing.

Repairs on the home may be made before or after the purchase. This is determined by the seller and the buyer in the contract. If a home is older, it is most likely to have faulty wiring, or structural inefficiencies and heating or cooling issues. Newer homes need to pass strict building inspector checks before they can be sold, so they will have less wrong with them as opposed to the older homes.
