A breastfeeding fussy baby is likely to be changed over to formula if the mother is thinking 'just why is my baby fussy at night?' She's starting to wonder if her milk is causing the fussiness.
My advice would be 'Don't make the change because it won't help and your baby will miss out on getting the antibodies in your milk. You're successfully breastfeeding so be happy about that.'
