11: Past time activities for nannies and children

It is always important that as we expect some sort of things from the nannies same is the case with the nannies, they also expect some kind of services from the employers. However each nanny expects some sort of different services, it is always important that you create a positive relationship with your nanny so that she would definitely take good care of your child.

12: Considering Becoming A Parent?

Before you become a parent, you think you know so much. Wrong. Once that first child arrives, you start realizing just how little you do know. Playing with random kids at the park doesn't really qualify you for pacing the floor with a sick baby.

13: To Keep Nails Neat And Smooth, Follow These Simple Tips

Trimming a baby's tiny fingernails and toenails can be an exercise in frustration and fear that you'll nick her sensitive skin with the clippers. But your newborn's fingernails should be trimmed about once a week, and her toe nails once a month.

17: The Aftermath of Child Abuse; What the world and what the world holds for the survivors.

This article is, again, about child abuse as in my first article: What not to do to your child.
That article was an excerpt from my book: The House On Telegraph Hill, as is most of this entry. This article tells of the aftermath of what was done to me, as a child, and the horrendous life I've had to endure ever since. My only goal here is to, hopefully, make at least one parent aware of the fragility of their child's mind. "Please treat them with kid's gloves" because that's all they really are...kids.

18: Helping Kids To Save Their Money

Many teens now don't seem to understand the value of spending and earning money. Many times the thought of investing even if they are still students doesn't cross their minds. As parents, you are a vital role model in this area.

19: Safeguarding Your Kids against Predatory Email

There is no question that the Internet has profoundly changed the way your kids are educated. The World Wide Web has opened up entire new universes of information which is now available to students with a few keystrokes and clicks of the mouse.

20: Child Care One Option in Staying Employed

Parenthood can throw a real wrench into a couple's ability to maintain their existing employment. Ideally one parent could leave work and stay home full time, but this may not be possible for financial reasons. While it can be argued that the cost of child care would all but negate that second income, it could still be possible for the couple to work on alternating shifts that make child care unnecessary. Whichever way you choose to go, you'll be sacrificing in one way or the other.
