Kids need school supplies when they head back to school but Moms need to equip themselves also to burn the baby fat. Here are some essential supplies to losing the pregnancy weight.
1. Schedule your workouts in a Planner
Kids get a planner for scheduling homework, assignments, tests and so on. And so must new Moms when losing pregnancy weight. If you want to stay on track, it's always good to pencil in those workout times. Your time is very precious and having a Planner will greatly help you to manage your time. Also, having those goals written down makes them easier to stick to and trim your tummy. Don't forget to allow yourself free time for fun or for an extra nap or two.
2. Get a Uniform
Nothing is worse than working out in uncomfortable clothes or even worse inappropriate footwear. New Moms especially need to outfit themselves in easy and effective workout gear. Choosing clothing material that breathes and running shoes that give support can make losing the pregnancy weight easier. Remember if you look the part, you will act the part and hence commit to your workout routine. And the best part to look forward to will be when you can buy smaller clothes once you burn the baby fat.
3. Carry a Backpack
When I was working out with a trainer she would give us a weight belt to go up and down hills with. Adding that extra weight kept all our muscles working harder. Try bringing your baby on your power walks with the stroller or by either carrying him/her in a baby sling, wrap, or backpack to give your cardio workout that extra push. By adding weight you will keep all your body engaged and burning the baby fat faster.
4. Tools of the Trade
Kids love crayons, scissors and other tools to help them in school well the rule stands with new Moms too! Exercise balls or free weights help tone and are fun ways to trim your tummy. Try and use these tools to your advantage by doing some resistance training while trying to lose the pregnancy weight.
With these four rules new Moms can get back to the basics of exercising. One of the reasons why new exercise routines fail or fizzle out is because they weren't prepared or planned properly. Get things together, re-focus, stay positive and then get out there. Losing the baby fat won't be hard once you get ready, commit and execute your steps to reach your goals.
