Cellulite is an inflammation of the connective tissue usually caused by a bacterial infection. Skin on the face or lower legs is most commonly affected by this infection, though other parts of the body can also get affected. Some people are affected through this and some not usually because of the difference in ways the skin is structured. Parts of body affected by cellulite are usually stuffed with excretable substances that did not get eliminated from the body. Double chin, thick shoulders and swollen ankles are caused by this condition.
The connective tissue is to be found in the body wherever there are no organs. Under the skin, it is known as subcutaneous cellular tissue. In case of cellulite, this connective tissue fills with lymph containing much waste matter, which irritates it and causes it to contract. It then fills with water. Water thickens into mucus, which in turn becomes semi-solid matter. This congests the cellular tissue, which then becomes painful. This is cellulite. Cellulite is not exclusive to women. Nearly 30% of cases afflict men. Most women have disfiguring cellulite-loose flabby fat trapped in hardened networks of elastin and collagen fibers. There is no miracle cure for it. However, you can see great results by effective natural ways.
How to diagnose cellulite
As described above, when suffering from cellulite there is an accumulation of loose flabby fat with fluid and toxins trapped into hardened deeper levels of the skin. Cellulite begins on the inside surface of the thighs and knees, covering up the bone projections. It quickly moves down to thicken ankles, which disappear from view. This thickening becomes more and more pronounced and soon affects the whole leg from the ankle to the knee.
Most women find lower limbs getting to store more fat and even more fat tends to get stored in the hips, thighs and buttocks where this "tufting" becomes so pronounced that it dimples. Also, the belief that only heavy or obese women suffer from cellulite is not true and fact is even some fitness models suffer from it. Women with any weight can have cellulite.
What aspects cause cellulite and what is the treatment ? How does cellulite get aggravated:
O Poor diet of low-fibre, high fat food, which tends to put great pressure on the digestive system. Toxins find it a lot difficult to be eliminated.
O Lack of exercise and stress often slow down blood circulation and the lymphatic system.
O Genetic factor.
Heredity, feeding (a cellulite mother often has a cellulite daughter), abnormal activity of the liver, generally due to dieting and sedentariness are some of the other factors favoring cellulite. To burn up toxins in the body, exercise your muscles. Toxins can be burnt up only by oxygen.
Oxygen has the tendency to burn up the toxins and it can do that in the lungs and the muscles. Both these organs of the body work in a collaboration to purify the body of toxins. Regular exercising is a must but one should not over exert on his body. Basically your digestive system, the nervous system and the kidney system must work properly and so every care must be taken to avoid the toxic foods and alcohol.
