Choose a Vowel - Change Your Life

As a singer and performer I know it is the ability to simplify the delivery that seems to embrace the most artistry, the greatest beauty.
I believe it is that way with life too. When we look at our fears and see our ability to choose, we embrace our freedom.
When we make different choices, we change the outcome. Sometimes the slightest change will make the biggest difference in the results.
We hear the words "I've got to get to work", "I've got to pick up the kids", "I've got to prepare for the presentation." - - "I've got to..." all day long from harried individuals. I've used them myself.
Think about the impact and the energy in the statement "I've got to...". When we use the word "got" in that context we are saying "I have to..."
Who's twisting your arm?
Isn't it a privilege or a blessing that you have a job to go to? That you have been blessed with children? That you are out there and people are interested in what you have to say?
Rather than saying "I've GOT to..." would you agree that it is a totally different energy when you say "I GET to..."?
You have been blessed if you have:
Eyes - you "get" to read this article, to watch the sunrise/sunset, to see and sense all of the colors of the rainbow, to see the sun as it sparkles like diamonds on the dew.
Ears - you "get" to hear the sounds of children's laughter, to hear music from so many different sources, to listen to the wind as it rustles through the trees, to hear the words "I Love You".
Hands/Arms - you "get" to feel the touch of your loved ones, to wipe away a child's tear with a loving embrace, to write and share your thoughts or feelings.
A Mind - you "get" to explore and create your existence from the inside out.
Feet/Legs - you "get" to travel within and without your home, community and world free of the aid of any machinery, to walk along the beach and feel the warm sand and refreshing water.
Children - you "get" to have someone who will carry on your heritage, who loves you, who looks up to you and who you can share your history.
A Job - you "get" to go to work - you have the opportunity to put food in your belly, a roof over your head and take advantage of the things money can buy.
Your list may go on ... mine does. I think you get the point?
Make a small change today and embrace the difference it will make in your life tomorrow.
