The bay was still as we secured the boat for the day, and we lit up the torches for the evening. We waded the sandy shoreline looking for minnows, and sending the crayfish running with every step. In a flash, the mosquito's took charge, and we were off to the comforts of the summer porch.
A bucket of ice, and fresh lemonade with uv blue in the candle light sounds in order for the evening. I look out over the bay, and spot a bunch of loons having a little get together of their own. Then with their haunting whistle, they take off to their summer beds before the sunset.
The moon is almost full, and begins to light bay. I'm with the love of my life, we melt into each others arms, and the song wild horses is playing on the radio. The fresh air and the sun has wore us out, we watch the candles flicker in the night for awhile, before we finally call it a night.
We love to spend August this way. Our favorite place in the forest a few miles from the greatest little town. More than enough sandy beaches to get lost at, and stay cool. Coffee with a view of the lake before the sun chases the shadows of the morning, is our favorite way to slowly wake up.
We slowly start to motivate, and make a quick trip into town for a few things, then packed the cooler, and get the boat ready before the heat of the afternoon settles in. Were just going to hang out on a beach we found not far from our bay. It's quite, the water is cool, and drops off perfectly.
This is the best way on a warm summer day to just let time pass by, with an umbrella and the cooler near by, we hang in the water for awhile, then head to the shade to and talk about plans for the evening. Nothing seems to be a definite, and it doesn't seem to matter. Were in no hurry.
We spot a couple of eagles on the edge of their nest high in tree near by. Their babies probably ready to fly, then lay on the blanket under the umbrella for a while before heading back into the cool water. With our arms around each other, we live in the moment of the power of intention.
We have designed our life like this. It took sometime but we did it. We have a home based business , an internet business, the best affiliate opportunity I have ever been a part of. We couldn't take living week to week with just two weeks vacation, making some one else rich.
