The American Rottweiler is a black dog with tan markings behind his eyes, cheeks, chest and muzzle. It has a medium length coat that is straight and coarse and has a double undercoat. Doing your own research before you go Rottweiler shopping is a very good idea in order to find the dog you desire. If you do not research the breed before you shop there is about a ninety percent chance that you will be unhappy with your dog.
These dogs must have obedience training in their early lives in order to provide productive behavior throughout its life. These dogs are gentle giants who have no idea of their size and have a marvelous sense of humor. Paired with the right human and the mix can be quite fun.
