Laying just ten miles to the west of old Cairo is the most prolific man made structure the world has ever known. Laying on a rocky plateau there stands the only remianing wonder of the world; the Great Pyramid. Untold millions visit the ten square mile site and ponder the unimaginable.

The Pyramid's base covers 13 acres, or 7 midtown blocks of the city of New York. Form this Broad area, leveled to with in a fraction of an inch, more than two-and-a-half million blocks of limestone and granite--weighing from 2 to 70 tons apiece--rise in 201 stepped tiers toward the Egyptian skies

If all the stone work in churches chapels and cathedrals in England since the time of Christ were calculated, it still wouldn't equal the volume of stone that was used in the building of the Great Pyramid

Modern engineers are astounded by both the enormity of the problems involved in the construction of the Pyramid and the optician's precision with which these problems were resolved. As originally designed, with its full mantle of polished limestone, the Great Pyramid must have been a dazzling sight.

There are absolutely no records of just how the pyramid looked after its completion. Not on papyrus nor wall painting throughout the entire land of Egypt was there any record kept of this most prodigious and all consuming way of life.
