I assume you have an existing relationship you'd like to test for compatibility and if possible to improve it, wouldn't you? In this article, I want to help you to test and improve your compatibility by discussing you personal and common future goals, dreams and also the plans for them if they exist already.
I hope you have some goals and dreams in the near or more far away future, right? And do you have any plans for achieving those? What about some help on it? Would it be nice if a person, you really like or love, could give you a hand and make it more of a reality and also faster, than you could do it alone? Sounds good?
One of the things I've learned and really like, is the fact, that we all try to survive in our life. Survival can be seen as just not being dead or as the wish for being healthy and rich and having a good big family, great job or business, being able to help other people, giving a hand to the nature and even creating beautiful things to stay forever for others to admire. That's quite a survival, isn't it?
But have you considered, that the fellow right by you also tries to survive and have a nice family, good job or succeeding business and so on? What do you think? So he or she might even like the idea of help in achieving that? Wouldn't you?
That's exactly the idea of having common future goals or just helping with the goals of the people dear to our hearts. You give a hand to few people and you will surely receive some help from the same or even different people around you.
That's seems to be the way this world works, unless you encounter really bad people who either hate being helped or hate helping or even would try to harm anyone who helps other people - they do exist, you know.
Anyway, I suggest you define your goals and dreams, write them down and then ask your partner to do the same! After that, discuss with him or her how you can help one another in achieving these goals. There is always a way!
Having totally different plans in the future, without being able to see how one helps another achieve them, can destroy the agreement on having the relationship and bring it to an end. Would you want that?
