Wedding Unity Ceremony is a very special event of a wedding because it is just the right way to welcome new members, especially children into the new family which formed after the wedding. It emphasizes the need of a new member as well as his support for the newly formed family. People do celebrate the Wedding Unity Ceremony in many ways but there are 3 standard formats including the Candle Unity, the Rose Unity and lastly Sand Unity Ceremony.

While in the Candle Unity Wedding Ceremony the bride as well as the groom will light candles, the number too being specific, about 3 candles. Candle lighting depicts the love shared by a wife and a husband. First bride will lit the candle followed by groom and then together they will lit each other's candles, which depict sharing of each other's joys and problems alike. The couple lighting another candle follows this, and this is a symbolic representation of their eternal unity. The Candle Unity Ceremony can be planned indoors due to breeze interference if planned outdoors.

The Rose Unity Wedding Ceremony can be planned either indoors or outdoors. After both the bride and the groom are pronounces as wife and husband, the event takes place. In this a rose will be given by the bride to groom and groom to the bride and since rose symbolically represent love it means they share love and bonds. The event of Rose Unity Wedding Ceremony gives the new couple a very special identity and it is the most common of the 3 wedding ceremony formats.

Don't forget to add other members of the family (especially children from either of the sides) and the newlyweds can give roses and kisses to children. Believe that this will send positive signals into them, which is very important for binding of the newly formed family.

The third common format is the Sand Unity Wedding Ceremony in which sand is used. Mostly this ceremony is planned along the beachfronts where sand is in abundance and two vials filled with sand will be removed (which are kept before) from under the feet of newlyweds and both of them will pour sand into one vial called the unity vial. This says a loud that they are going to be one from now on. The couple usually will retain the unity vial as a memorable keepsake. Children (if they will be part of new family) also are included and they take sand from both bride and the groom and pour into the unity vial.

With the three standard formats you can plan your wedding with any one of them because a wedding is only partially complete without a unity wedding ceremony. So go ahead get geared for your wedding and finish it off with the wedding unity ceremony in a memorable style. There are newer trends coming in with unity ceremonies and you may as well sit and plan well ahead if you want to continue with new trends.
