The bottom line here that there should be at least some choices for vegetarians, considering the rising number of people who do not take meat nowadays.
Another issue you will certainly need to consider is the music. Will live band be provided by the venue? If the answer is a NO, you will probably need to arrange it yourself. On the contrary, if you are not planning to hire any live band or DJ, you have to know if the venue will provide any background music during your reception. As a matter of fact, some venues may not let you play your own CDs. You have to ask for these little details before you make the final decision.
Remember to keep all the information you get from various venues. You can create a Microsoft Excel file and put the services available for each venue in the Excel file. Of course Microsoft Excel is only one of the choices, any software that can create and mange spread sheets will be perfect. The advantage of a spread sheet is that you can easily compare different options you have.
